|The Almanett Hotel & Bistro Policies and Procedures:
Arrival Time: Check-in time for The Almanett Hotel is between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Early or late check-in may also be available
Departure Time: Check out time is 12noon. Late check out is available at a rate of $25 for every 30 minutes past 12noon.
Minimum Night Stays: One-night stays are available. Nonetheless, holidays and special events occasionally have a
minimum two night stay requirement.
Rates: Rates are for single or double occupancy. All rates are subject to change without notice.
Rates also are subject to the 12% Mississippi State Rooms Tax, and a 20% gratuity tax is not required, but, encouraged.
Occupancy: We allow a maximum of 2 people per room except in the guest cottage (Sandy) which may accommodate 4
with an additional $25 charge per person
Children: Children over the age of 16 are welcome provided that they are able to stay in their own room. If you are interested
in occupying the entire guest house, and the children are well behaved, we will be happy to host your gathering. However, the
extended stay guest cottage (Sandy) which can sleep 4 would be more ideal for families with children, The Almanett Hotel is
designed for adult relaxation.
Pets: Pets may be allowed. Based on management criteria, but we reserve the right to refuse pet occupancy,
and a non-refundable $150 pet deposit is required.
Smoking: We are a non-smoking guest house. If you would like to smoke on the verandas or on the balconies,
we will be happy to provide you with an ashtray upon checking in. Smoking inside The Almanett Hotel & Bistro
will result in an immediate request to leave, and an additional cleaning fee of $250.
Payment Method: We accept cash, travelers checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. No Personal Checks.
Reservation Policy: We require a full payment of the quoted rate to reserve room. Absolutely no refunds on cancellations,
however a credit for the amount paid may be applied to the payment of a future stay at The Almanett Hotel & Bistro provided
the credit is used within one year of the cancellation. (excluding Holidays, Holiday Weekends, Special Events,
or Special Event Weekends) Occupancy is based on hotel availability therefore make reservations early.
You may use a credit card to secure your room.
Housekeeping: Rooms are serviced every other day unless specified at check-in or display your “Maid Service” sign
on outside room door handle.
Key & Damage Deposit: Room key must be left in room upon check-out. A $100 key deposit is required,
and failure to return the room key can result in the forfeiture of the $100 deposit.
The deposit may also be applied to damage to the property, but damage charges may not have a $100 limit
and could be automatically charged to your credit card account upon written notice.
Elevator Operation & Instructions: 1. Select floor, 2. Enter close BOTH doors, 3. Select floor, 4. Exit elevator only
When floor light goes off, 5. Close BOTH doors behind you.
Bar & Bistro Hours of Operations: The first floor opens at 11:00am Monday thur Sunday, closes at 2:00pm Sunday & Monday,
Tuesday thur Thursday at 9:30pm, and Friday & Saturday at 12:00 midnight.
